Introduction
MUNify DELEGATOR is the registration system for DMUN's Model United Nations conferences. You apply for a conference here, the team hands out the seats to delegations and single participants, and everyone prepares for the conference together: from payment and documents to the schedule.
Who plays which part
In each conference you have exactly one part:
- Delegation member: You apply as a group of at least two people for a state or a non-state actor. Whoever founds the delegation becomes its head delegate: they invite the others, enter the delegation's preferences and complete the application for everyone. The lead can be handed to another member.
- Single participant: You apply on your own for a special role, for example in the conference press.
- Supervisor: Teachers or club leaders accompany their students. They see their applications and status and help with the organisation, but are not given a seat themselves.
- Team: The team organises the conference. Team members do not apply but join through an invitation, and each has a team role for their task, such as Project Management, Participant Care or Content Lead.
How to register in one of these parts is explained under Registration.
How a conference moves through its stages
Every conference goes through five stages. The dashboard groups the conferences by them.
- Upcoming: The conference has been announced, but registration has not opened yet.
- Registration open: You apply and complete your application before the application deadline. After that, the team reviews every completed application in the selection process and hands out the seats.
- In preparation: Once the team has released the assignment, you learn by email whether you got a seat and in which role. With a seat, you prepare on the dashboard. Without one, you can put yourself on the waiting list.
- Running: The conference is taking place.
- Over: The conference is over, and the dashboard offers things like your certificate of participation.
What the dashboard shows you in each stage is explained under Dashboard.
Where to find help
- Help button: The question mark in the header opens Help. There, Manual for this page takes you straight to the section that explains the page you are on. Where a page has a guided tour, Take the tour starts it and walks you through the most important parts of the page.
- Footer: User manual in the footer also leads to the matching page of this manual.
- Command palette: Press Ctrl+K (⌘+K on a Mac) to search for pages and actions, this manual included.
- Participant care: If you have questions about your application or participation, the conference's participant care team will help you.
